John F. Ponton, Jr., 82 of Leominster, passed away on Sunday, May 22nd at home. A funeral service for John will be held on Thursday, May 26th at 10:30 in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 25th from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312.
