Helena F Ciociolo

Helena F. "Lena" (Marzziotti) Ciociolo, 93, of West Boylston, passed away peacefully, rising to the Lord to meet her husband on Easter Sunday, April 24th with her devoted family by her side. Lena's husband of 65 years, Louis J. Ciociolo passed away in 2005. She is survived by her devoted and cherished family; her son, Anthony G. "Gary" Ciociolo and her daughter Donna F. Ciociolo both of West Boylston; a brother, Pasquale "Pat" Marziotti of Worcester; three grandsons who adored her, Chet L Brigham, Steven W. Brigham and his wife Kathy, and Derek Brigham; seven great grandchildren whom she adored, Daniel A., Steven W., Cameron J., Audrey B., twins Louis B. and Elizabeth R. and Derek J. Brigham; many, nieces, nephews and extended family. A brother, Louis Marzziotti and two sisters, Josephine Ferrante and Victoria Buffone all pre deceased her. She was born in Worcester; her parents were the late Domenic and Crucifissa (Dentino) Marzziotti. She grew upon in Worcester, met and married her husband and together they raised their children in West Boylston since 1955. Lena was a member of Our Lady of Good Council Church, the Seven Hills Foundation, and the Worcester Area Association for the Mentally Challenged. She enjoyed sewing and crochet, but most of all Lena's life centered around her family, She cherished the time she spend caring for them, being with them and sharing her life with them. They were her life's inspiration and joy. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Wednesday, April 27th from 4 pm to 8 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Thursday, April 28th from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Good Council Church, 111 Worcester Street West Boylston. Burial will follow in Mt Vernon Cemetery.
