Derrick Spencer Grippin

Derrick Spencer Grippin, 30 of Edgewater, Florida formerly of Worcester passed away unexpectedly on April 2, 2011 at Bert Fish Medical Center in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Erica S. (Graybeal) Grippin of Rockingham, NC; two daughters, Kate Elizabeth Haynes and Alyssa Evette Grippin; his father, Brian Grippin of Denver, Colorado; many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother, Deborah (Kozerski) Kucher and his sister, Cassie Kucher. Derrick was born in Cherry Point, N.C. He later moved to Worcester where he graduated from Leicester High School. He then attended classes at Becker College. He worked for Computers by the Sea as a Computer Technician. Calling hours for Derrick will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 3-6 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Burial will be on Monday, April 11th at 11:00 a.m. in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
