George F. Daly

George F. Daly, 67 of Worcester, died peacefully March 29, 2011 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his devoted wife of 41 years, Elizabeth F. (Wolanin) Daly; his two brothers, Robert J. Daly of Worcester and Daniel W. Daly of Florida and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother, Richard M. Daly. George, son of the late George T. and Josephine M. (Falcone) Daly, was born in Worcester on August 5, 1943. George graduated from South High School and has lived in Worcester all of his life. During the Vietnam War, George served our country in the United States Air Force. Mr. Daly had worked as a service manager for Duddie Ford for many years, and most recently for Imperial Chevrolet in Milford. You are invited to attend his visiting hours in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, from 3-6 pm Sunday, April 3, 2011. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday, April 4, 2011 beginning at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
