Marjorie M. (Granger) Dupuis, 79, of Boylston, died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in UMASS Medical Center after being stricken ill at work. She leaves her best friend and devoted husband of 52 years, William O. Dupuis; two sons, Marc W. Dupuis of Boylston and Michael P. and his wife Kelly Ann Dupuis of Shrewsbury; two daughters, Michele Baird of Boylston and Catherine and her husband Rudy of Cambridge; a brother, Randy Granger of Florida; eight grandchildren, Peter, Molly and Emily Baird, Samantha Desrosiers, Charlotte and Jack Parker and Kaitlyn and William Dupuis. A sister, Shirley Kenney predeceases her. Born on December 8, 1931 in Springfield, MA, daughter of the late Pater A. & Alice (Favreau) Granger. She has lived in the Boylston community for over 43 years. Mrs. Dupuis has been working as an office manager for Wagner Brothers Inc. right up until her illness. She was member of St. Mary of the Hills Church in Boylston, where she sang in the church choir. She was a charter member for the Boylston Historical Society and was the first woman commissioner for the Morningdale water district. A funeral Mass for Marjorie will be held Saturday, March 12th at 12 noon in St. Mary of the Hills Church, 630 Cross Street, Boylston. After cremation, burial will be held privately in Pine Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
