Roxanne L. Notarangelo

Roxanne L. (Johnson) Notarangelo, 75 of Shrewsbury, formerly of Sterling, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011 in Westborough Healthcare Center surrounded by her loving family. Roxanne is survived by her husband of 58 years, John M. Notarangelo, Jr.; three children, Susan Rist and her husband Stephen of Shrewsbury which whom she lived with, Daniel Notarangelo of Sterling and Virginia Lavoie and her husband Mark of Charlton; a brother, Lawrence Johnson, Jr. and his wife Anita of Maryland; a sister, Linda Johnson of West Boylston; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Roxanne was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence Johnson, Sr. She graduated from Commerce High School and Elizabeth Ollis Beauty Academy, later becoming a hair stylist. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Roxanne's family would like to thank Dr. David Shepro and his nurse Dianne of the Commonwealth Hematology-Oncology as well as the UMASS Memorial Infusion Center and the second floor at Westborough Healthcare Center for all of the outstanding care giving to her during this difficult time. Services for Roxanne will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd at 11 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 1st from 5 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
