Mildred M. (Costa) D'Acri-Marnalse, 86, of Worcester passed away peacefully Friday, February 25th in her home with her cherished family by her side. Mildred's first husband Louis D'Acri passed away in 1965. Her second husband Edward Marnalse passed away in 1977. She is survived by her two devoted children, Louis D'Acri Jr and his wife Linda of Worcester, and Karen M. Doherty of Holden and her former husband John Doherty, six grandchildren whom she adored, Beth-Ann Maider, Robert S., Melissa M. and Matthew L. D'Acri, Tara M and Jamie L. Doherty; six great grandchildren whom she cherished, David, Jocelyn, Frankie, Joshua, Joey Jr. and Jaidyn; her cherished cat "Lucky"; several nieces and nephews. A sister, Lillian Jason pre deceased her. Mildred was born in Worcester, a daughter of Antonio and Susie DaCosta, and has lived here all her life. Mildred worked many years as a shift manager for the McDonald's Restaurant on Grafton St. before retiring. She previously worked in Quality Control for G.E. Telecron Company. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a Diehard Red Sox Fan. Mildred cherished her family; she was at her happiest moments when she was caring for and around her family. They gave her the most joy in her life. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Sunday February 27th from 3pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A calling hour will also be held MONDAY morning from 8AM to 9AM. Her funeral will be Monday February 28th from the funeral home with a Mass at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will follow in St John's Cemetery.
