Evelyn R. (Panarelli) Razzano, 76, of Shrewsbury passed away Monday, February 21st 2011 after a brief period of declining health. Evelyn is survived by her devoted husband and partner of 58 years, Vincent J. Razzano, Sr; her four cherished children, Vincent J. Razzano, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Westborough, Richard Razzano and his wife Susan, Michael Razzano and his wife Lisa all of Shrewsbury, Maria Green and her husband Matthew of Worcester; a brother, James "Junnie" Panarelli, Jr. of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren, Bryan, Kyle, Brianna, Angela, Anthony and Nicholas; Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Four brothers, Gerald "Chubby", Angelo "Ninnie". Anthony and Cosmo "Pinky" Panarelli pre deceased her. Evelyn was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Carmela (Trafecante) Panarelli. She grew up in the Italian neighborhood of Shrewsbury Street, graduated from Fanning Trade High School and has lived in Shrewsbury for more than 50 years. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Evelyn cherished her Italian heritage and the joy of family. Her children and grandchildren were her occupation, concern, inspiration and love in life. She most enjoyed the times she could spend with them. Evelyn worked at the Italian Kitchen with her family, and then at The International House of Pancakes in Shrewsbury where she made many close friends. She was a member of St Mary's Church. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday, February 25th from 5 pm to 8 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Saturday, February 26th from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:00 am in St Mary's Church, 640 Main St. Shrewsbury. Entombment will follow in St John Mausoleum.
