Lorraine (Granger) Boucher, 84, of Worcester passed away Friday, February 18, 2011 after a period of declining health with her family by her side. Her husband Reynold J. Boucher to whom she was wed for over forty years, passed away in 1992. She had also lost her oldest daughter, Janine Remick, in 2004. She is survived by her four children, Michelle McGrath and her husband John of Charlton, Paul Boucher and his wife Virginia of Maryland, Theresa O'Malley and her husband Paul of Clinton, Gerard Boucher and his wife Dawn of Worcester; a sister, Germaine Belmonte and her husband Armand of Worcester, seven grandchildren: one great granddaughter: Many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Lorraine was born in Worcester a daughter of George E and Alba (Gravel) Granger; she graduated from Ascension High School and the Worcester School of Business Science and has lived here most of her life. Lorraine worked as a Medical Coder for the Pathology Associates many years. She was a member of St Stephen's Church. Lorraine was a quietly devoted mother who cherished her family and friends. The moments she spent with them were her inspiration for life. She will be dearly missed. Lorraine's funeral will be held Tuesday, February 22nd from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:00 am in St Stephen's Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Monday, February 21st from 5 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home.
