Rose M Milluzzo

Rose Marie Milluzzo, 91, formerly of 36 N. Quinsigamond Ave passed away Thursday, February 17th after a period of declining health. Rose was born September 21st 1919, in Worcester daughter of Salvatore and Lucia (Gallo) Milluzzo. She graduated from Worcester public schools, grew up in Worcester and has lived more than 22 years in Shrewsbury. Rose is survived by two sisters, Mary Dacri in Florida, and Lucy Brown in California; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Three brothers, Paul, Joseph, and Anthony Milluzzo and a sister, Santa Kender all pre deceased her. Rose worked many years for Central Coating Company before retiring in 1982. She previously worked for Worcester Molded Plastics. She was a member of St Anne's Church and a devoted sister, aunt and friend to her family. Her smile and infectious humor could light up any room she entered. She was an especially cherished member of her family. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 22nd at 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will be in St John Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held from 9:30 am to 11:00 am prior to the service in the funeral home.
