Frances A Terry

Frances A. (Ricciardi) Terry, 81, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, Monday February 7th 2011, in the Lutheran Home, with her sons by her side. Frances is survived by her three beloved sons, Robert Terry and his wife Cindy, Wayne "Ringo" Terry, Anthony Terry and his wife Kim all of Worcester; six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Two brothers, Pasquale and Michael Ricciardi, and four sisters, Phyllis Ricciardi, Martha Hopkins, Anne Gardner, and Lucy Belles all pre deceased her. Frances was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Angelina (Notarangelo) Ricciardi and has lived here all her life. Frances dedicated her life to raising her three sons with extreme love and devotion. She was equally in love with and proud of her grandchildren. She worked for years at Umass Medical Center in the Housekeeping Department before retiring. Frances had a great sense of humor, and always left people with a smile on their faces. She enjoyed spending time with her family and the occasional scratch ticket. Otherwise she never self-indulged and always put the needs of her family above her own. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services for Frances will be held Friday, February 11th at 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Thursday, February 10th from 5 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home.
