Angelina Particianone

Angelina (Mercando) Particianone, 96, of Worcester formerly of Lyons Street passed away Monday, January 31st 2011 in St Vincent Hospital with her devoted daughter by her side. Angelina's beloved husband Carl Particianone passed away in 1978. She is survived by her daughter and care giver Maryann Particianone of Worcester, nieces, nephews and extended family. Four brothers, Joseph, Frank, Anthony and Carmine Mercando and a sister, Mary Maglio all pre deceased her. Angelina was one of six children born to Carmine and Catherine (Adesso) Mercando and has lived here all her life. Angelina worked as a stitcher for Comfort Products Company and later as an assembler for Sheppard Envelope before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. A funeral service will be held Monday, February 7th at 11:30 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Burial will follow in St John Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 am prior to the service in the funeral home.
