Thelma P. Lapriore

Thelma P. (Lambert) Lapriore ,83 formerly of 50 Shrewsbury Street died peacefully Saturday January 8, 2011 in the Lutheran Home surrounded by her family. Her husband Anthony J. Lapriore died in 1978. Thelma is survived by her loving family; a son Frank A. Lapriore and his wife Nancy of Worcester, a daughter Linda A. Lapriore of Lisle, Illinois, a granddaughter Alicia Lapriore, one brother Carl Lambert and his wife Lucille, two sisters, Audrey Williams and Phyllis Dagle, and a sister in law Mildred Lambert. Thelma was predeceased by three brothers Raymond, Wilford, and Obid Lambert. Thelma was born in Marlboro daughter of the late Eugene and Annie (Porter) Lambert and has lived in Worcester most of her life. She was educated in the Marlboro Schools. Thelma worked at the Hampton Inn for several years before she retired. She enjoyed being a home maker. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church and it's Golden Age Club. She was also a member of the Women's Guild. Thelma enjoyed her "Beano" and loved being around her many friends and family. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her. The family would like to thank the Lutheran Home for their excellent care and compassion shown to Thelma and her family during her stay there. Thelma's funeral will be held Tuesday morning from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Anne Church 24 Mulberry St. A Calling hour in the funeral home will be held from 9;00 AM to 10:30AM prior to the Mass. Interment will be in St. John's Cemetery.
