Mary Trent

Mary "Meg" (Galli) Trent, 80, of Worcester, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2011 in Beaumont Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Worcester. Mary is survived by a daughter, Susan R. Lucier and her husband Brian of Shrewsbury; two sons, John P. White and his wife Teresa of Seal Beach, CA and Richard R. White and his wife Judy of Fitchburg; two brothers, Arthur Galli of Sherman Oaks, CA and Hugo Galli of Shrewsbury; four sisters, Ida Blood of Shrewsbury, Alice Michaud and Dora Galli both of Worcester and Gloria Meola of West Boylston; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters, John Galli, Grace Langowski, Viola Dusak, Assunta Butler, Victor Galli, Domenic Galli and Matilda Holland. Mary was born in Worcester, daughter of Paulo and Anna (Antenerella) Galli. She graduated from North High School and has lived in Worcester all her life. Mary was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church. She enjoyed her family and friends, and found great joy being surrounded by them. Mary's funeral will be held on Thursday, January 6, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 5, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. the funeral home.
