Bella I. (Cormier) Power, 99 of Worcester passed away on December 27, 2010 in Shrews bury Nursing Home. Bella is survived by a son, John Power of New York; a daughter, Elizabeth Paul of Worcester; ten grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and 15 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by three daughters, Mary Patriaca, Beverly Eluziairo and Sheila Richards; four brothers; Albert, Henry, Daniel and Francis Cormier; four sisters, Sr. Eva Marie Cormier, Agnes Chumsae, Lena Atkins and Bertha Pinkham. Bella was born in Worcester, a daughter of the late Raymond and Agnes (Ledger) Cormier. She worked as a Welder at Parker Metal Company and various other companies for over 20 years. Previously she was a bartender at Natalie's Hideaway. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church. Services for Bella will be held on Thursday, December 30th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. with a Mass at 10:30 am in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St., Worcester. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, December 29th from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Flowers are welcome.
