Eunice M. Errara, 72, of Jamestown RI, formerly of Shrewsbury passed away December 25, 2010 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. Eunice was born in Worcester, a daughter of Arthur and Helen (Perry) Gallant. She grew up in Millbury and moved to Shrewsbury where she raised her family before moving to Jamestown, 20 years ago. Eunice worked at General Automotive and Spag's Supply for many years before retiring. Eunice is predeceased by Leo, her loving husband of 47 years who passed away February 6th 2010. She is survived by her three beloved children, Lisa A Birnie and her husband James, Debbie Johnson and her husband Paul, Michael Errara and his wife Mary Lou all of Shrewsbury; a sister, Rhea Gallant of Port Charlotte, Florida; Five cherished grandchildren, James Birnie, Sam, Grace, John and Juliana Errara; many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family, especially Sandra and the rest of the Johnson family. Eunice loved her Arcadian History and gathering her cousins for family reunions. She loved spending time with family and friends especially her extended family in Jamestown and all her cousins. Eunice was a member of St Anne's Church in Shrewsbury and St Marks Church in Jamestown. The funeral will be held Thursday, December 30th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St with a mass at 10:00 am in St Anne Church, 130 Boston Turnpike Rd. Burial next to her husband will follow in Mt View Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Wednesday December 29th from 5 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home.
