Lorie A. Gadbois, 44 of Worcester passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010 in St. Vincent's Hospital after a long illness. Lorie is survived by her mother, Alice L. (Galipeau) Carey and her husband Ronald of Leicester; her father, Joseph W. Gadbois and his wife Eleanor of Brookfield; two sisters, Susan Welch and her husband James of Worcester and Deborah Carey of Naples, FL; three step-brothers, Paul Carey and his wife Tina of Millbury and Ernest Carey and his wife Jennifer of Worcester and Ronald Carey, Jr. of Naples, FL ; a step-sister, Tammey Carey of Worcester; many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. She is predeceased by three sisters, Theresa Zak, Karon Marie and Anita Louise Gadbois. Lorie was born in Worcester and has lived here most of her life. She has also resided in Spencer, Leicester and Canton. She graduated from Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton. Lorie was a member of St. Paul's Cathedral. She liked television and computers; she liked to shop and take long walks in her wheelchair. Lorie's Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 28th at 10 a.m. in Mary, Queen of the Rosary Church, 7 Church Street, Spencer. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
