Helen W. (Kalil) DeFeo-D'Angelo, 82 of Worcester passed away Friday, December 10th 2010 in the Christopher House. Helen's first husband Anthony R. DeFeo passed away in 1992. Her second husband Alfred W. D'Angelo passed away in 2002. She is survived by a son, Ralph A DeFeo and his fiancée Cheryl Linscott of Sterling; two brothers, George J. Kalil and his wife Ann, Edward J Kalil and his wife Ruth all of Shrewsbury; four grandchildren, Marissa DeFeo and her fiancée Dana LaPerle, Andrea Dotterer and her husband Jesse, Catherine DeFeo and Gianna DeFeo; two great-grandsons, Dominic and Nicholas and one great grand-daughter Lennon; nieces nephews and friends. She was born in Worcester a daughter of James and Victoria (Shakour) Kalil. She graduated from Belmont Prep and earned her certificate in cosmetology from Elizabeth Ollis School of Cosmetology and has lived here all her life. Helen owned and operated Helen's Beauty Shop in Paxton many years before retiring. Helen's interest in life was her family, she cherished the times she could cook and take care of them. They were her life and inspiration. Helen's funeral will be held Tuesday, December 14th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in St John's Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held from 9 am to 10 am prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Christopher House Activities Fund, 10 Mary Scano Dr. 01604.
