Lawrence Titta Sr

Lawrence "Larry" Titta, Sr. 88 of Shrewsbury passed away Wednesday, December 8th 2010 in the University of Massachusetts Hospital. Larry is survived by two sons, Pietro Titta of Worcester and Lawrence Titta Jr. of Shrewsbury; a sister, Ann Savastano of Cherry Valley; three grandchildren, Caitlin, Patrick and Camela; Nieces, nephews and extended family. He was born in Worcester, and has lived many years in Shrewsbury. Larry worked as an Ironworker for the Local 7, AFL-CIO United Steelworkers Union. During his working years, Larry took part in the construction of many buildings in New England especially to be part of the construction of buildings in Boston that now form the Skyline. Calling hours will be held Sunday, December 12th from 2 pm to 5 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A Service will follow at 5 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Christ Baptist Church, 34 Granby Rd.
