Albert A. Beauregard

Albert A. Beauregard, 86, of Worcester died peacefully Friday December 3, 2010 in the UMASS Medical Center. Albert is survived by his wife Rita F. (Beando) Beauregard, two sons, Robert M. Beauregard of Worcester, Michael Beauregard of Seattle Washington, a daughter Deborah Whittle of Worcester, three grandchildren, Robert, Richard, and Sarah, three great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a son Richard Beauregard in 1964, and a sister Estelle Bunikis. Albert was born in Worcester son of the late Arthur and Sabina (White) Beauregard and lived here all his life. He was a graduate of Commerce High School, and attended Clark University. Albert was a Navy veteran of WW11. He received a European African Middle Eastern Theatre Medal with one star. He was a Civil Engineer for the Greenwood Land Surveyer Company for many years before he retired. Albert was a long time member of the YMCA and loved to exercise, he enjoyed playing cribbage, but mostly enjoyed being with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Albert's interment service will be held Wednesday December 15, 2010 in the Mausoleum Chapel at St. John's Cemetery at 11:00AM.Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family prior to the service. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 PLANTATION St. is assisting the family with arrangements.
