Joseph "Joe" J. Rosiello, 73, of Shrewsbury, passed away in his home on Sunday, November 28, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of fifty-two years, Nina (Palermo) Rosiello; two brothers, Emilio Rosiello and his wife Marjorie and Alfred Rosiello and his wife Norma all of Shrewsbury. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters in law, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters, John, Anthony, Raymond, Mary and Loretta. Joe was born in Worcester, son of Emilio and Theresa (Chivallate) Rosiello and graduated from Commerce High School. He later graduated from Saunder's Industrial Technical School in Boston, where he was top in his class, with a Master's License in Radio and Television. He was also a licensed electrician and telephone technician. Mr. Rosiello worked for over thirty years at Coderrer's Electronics in Auburn, where he was a manager for many years. He later worked as a sales person at Percy's in Worcester for many years. He was a member of Saint Anne's Church in Shrewsbury and was a regular volunteer for the church free medical clinic. He was a member of the Hail Mary Club. Joe was a very enthusiastic "AVID" Boston Celtics fan for over fifty years. He also enjoyed the Red Sox and New England Patriots. He enjoyed working in his yard and was the electronics "go to, fix it guy" for all his family and friends. He regularly did "Thursday Luncheons" with his friends Ed, Frankie, and Ricky. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. A special "Thank You" to his niece Susan and nephew Jack, to Mike Kiritsy and to Dr. Andrew Miller and staff, to Dr. Doreen Brettler and staff and to the wonderful people at UMass-Memorial Hospice. Calling hours for Joe will be held on Wednesday morning, December 1, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, follow by his Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike (Route 9), Shrewsbury.
