Retired Worcester Police Officer, Earl J. Goslow, 73, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep Thursday, November 25th 2010 in his home. Earl was born February 23, 1937 in Worcester a son of Charles and Catherine (Koroniak) Goslow. He graduated from Commerce High, joined and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War Era. Upon return he then earned his associates degree from the University of Connecticut where he played basketball and has lived here all his life. Earl is survived by his wife Joanna (Noccella) Goslow; a devoted son, John P. Goslow and his wife Evelyn Goslow; Two Cherished grandchildren, Dylan Goslow and Kimberly Andujar; a brother Dennis Goslow of Worcester; nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends. A brother, Charles and a sister Carol Goslow pre deceased him. Earl worked more than 27 years as a Police Officer for the City of Worcester before retiring in 2002. Earl was a member of the International Brotherhood of Police Officers Union, The Worcester Police Relief and Credit Unions, The Massachusetts Police Association and the Marine Corps League Detachment 114. Funeral services with Military honors will be held Monday, November 30th at 12 noon in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Monday, November 30th from 10 am to 12 noon in the funeral home.
