Rita (Incutto) Penny, 90 of Worcester, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 22nd, 2010. The love of her life, Francis J. Penny passed away in July of 2009. Rita is survived by her devoted and treasured daughters, Linda M. Chalifoux, wife of the late Paul L. Chalifoux, Beverly A. Cariglia and her husband Peter P. Cariglia, Diane M. Penny-McCarthy and her husband Stewart E. McCarthy, Patricia A. Nims and her husband Steven A. Nims all of Worcester. She was blessed with nine grandchildren, Cheryl Shea, Michelle Hillman, Leanne Chalifoux, Danny F. Genese, Robert M. Genese, Matthew Genese, Francis McCarthy, Lisa and Steven Nims; ten great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and extended family including her close and dearest friend Minnie Cippanelli. She was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Joseph, and William Incutto and six sisters, Congetta Triola, Angelina Fazio, Auralia Deeb, Stella Vuona, Lena Fredericks and Beatrice Pedone. Rita was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Ann Marie (Peluso) Incutto and lived here all her life. Rita worked for the Wonder Foods/ Big D Supermarkets and retired in 1983 after 20 years of service. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. Rita's pride and joy was her family. She cherished every moment with her family; especially the holidays and she took delight in making all of her traditional Italian delicacies. She was noted for being a fabulous cook and baker. Her family was the center piece of her life. She filled her children's lives with love, inspiration, and joy. She will truly be missed by all who loved her. The funeral mass for Rita will be celebrated Friday, November 26th at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Road, Worcester. Entombment will follow at Saint John's Mausoleum.
