Frederick W. Lajoie

Frederick W. LaJoie,85, of Worcester died peacefully Thursday November 18, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. His wife Adrienne (Rice) LaJoie died in 2003. Frederick is survived by a daughter Lynn A. Boyd of Worcester, a grandson Joshua Boyd of Worcester, a great grandson Alexander Boyd,three sisters; Alice Bixby of Ashland MA., Lillian Orinson of Georgia Mills N.H., and Esther Grace of Wilmont N.H. his feline companion Cosmo, and several nephews and nieces. Frederick was born in Wilmont N.H. son of the late Frederick J. and Caroline (Fowler) LaJoie and lived in Northborough many years before moving to Worcester. He was a graduate of Andover High School in New Hampshire and served his country in the Unites States Army during WW11. Frederick was a self employed carpenter most of his life. He was a long time member of the American Legion Post in Northborough. Fred loved animals and had a special kindness for cats. He loved being a Carpenter and enjoyed his work. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. In accordance with his wishes there are no calling hours or services planned. His burial will be private at the families convenience .
