Richard A. Ball, DDS

Richard A. Ball, DDS, 57, a longtime resident of Shrewsbury, died peacefully Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center after a period of failing health. Richard was born on February 13, 1953 in Worcester, MA. He was the son of Richard L. & Josephine (Lombardozzi) Ball and has lived in Shrewsbury for most of his life. He graduated from Shrewsbury High School, and studied Pre-Med at Northeastern University, earning a Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery from New York University. He founded Westborough Dental Associates in 1976 and continued to serve the families in and around Westborough for many years, until he sold his practice in 2009. Richard enjoyed fishing, cooking and listening to music. He was an avid sports fan, especially for the Boston Red Sox. Richard is survived by his wife, Elisa (Coelho) Ball and his daughter Julia; a brother, Steven Ball of Worcester and a sister, Elaine Coccari of Northborough.
