Constance "Tina" (DeAngelis) Quitadamo, 78, of Worcester passed away Thursday, October 27th 2010, with her devoted husband and son at her side. She has joined her son in heaven, John Quitadamo who died unexpectedly in February of 1977. Tina was born July 4th 1932 in Worcester, the daughter of the late Joseph and Angela (Papagni) DeAngelis. Tina was a member of the first High School graduating class of the Venerini Academy and has lived here all her life. Tina was a simple and quiet women who cherished her husband, sons and family. She dedicated herself to the care, comfort and well being of them. She loved her family so much that she daily would care for her cousin's children as infants during working hours until they became school age so their parents could work. She treasured them and they treasured her. She was all about family. Tina leaves behind her devoted husband and partner of 53 years, Camillo "Cam" Quitadamo; a cherished son, Mark A. Quitadamo: many nieces, nephews, Uncles, Aunts, Cousins and friends. A brother, Angelo "Andy" DeAngelis predeceased her. Tina worked as a cook for the City Worcester School Department many years before retiring. She worked mainly at Wawecus Rd and Lakeview schools. At one time she worked as a clerk for Norton Company. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. Tina enjoyed knitting, cooking, crochet, gardening and crafts. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Sunday, October 31st from 3 pm to 6 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be held Monday November 1st from the funeral home with a mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow in St John's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church renovation fund, 24 Mulberry St. 01604.
