Douglas Scott Lippman, 55, of Worcester passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 17, 2010. He was born in Los Angeles on December 7, 1954, son of the late Burt and Jeanne Lippman. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Johnna; his sons, Drew A. Lippman and David A. Buckley; his daughter, Wendy R. Spring and her husband Jeffrey, all of Worcester. He also leaves his brothers, Craig H. Lippman and his wife Leslee of Warren, RI and Keith I. Lippman of Santa Cruz, CA; a sister, Laurie L. Crosby and her husband William of Laguna Niguel, CA; two beloved grandchildren, Janine Spring and David Buckley III. Doug worked successfully in Central Massachusetts for many years as a general contractor and realtor. He was passionate about sailing. His greatest love was to be at home with his family. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 20 at 4 p.m. in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday afternoon from 3 p.m. until the service begins at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Doug's honor to melanoma research through Dr. Michael B.
