Therese J Bergeron

Therese J. "Terri" (Dupont) Bergeron, 83, of Worcester, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010 in Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, surrounded by her loving family. Her husband , James R. "Dick" Bergeron, predeceased her in March 1997. Terri is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Therese "Bunny" Simoncini of Shrewsbury; a son, James R. Bergeron, Jr. and his wife Kim of Spencer; seven grandchildren, Raymond J. and Michael A. Simoncini, Jill Castinetti, Craig R. and James R. Bergeron, III, Nicole R. Theroux and Sheri L. Bergeron; ten great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother and sister, Arnold Dupont and Isabelle Rackett. Terri was born in Worcester, daughter of William J. and Corinne (Giard) Dupont, and has lived here all her life. She worked for many years as a manager for several area "temp" agencies, including Kelly Services. She was a volunteer for the March of Dimes and Easter Seals. She loved to socialize, travel and go shopping. She was a loving mother, who cherished special times with her grandchildren and her many friends. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, September 26, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her funeral will be held on Monday, September 27, from the funeral home with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Saint John's Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
