Angelina Bennett

Angelina "Jean" (D'Aguanno) Bennett, 86, formerly of Plantation St passed away peacefully Saturday, August 28th 2010 with family by her side. Angelina's husband of 52 years, George L. Bennett passed away in 2000. She is survived by her devoted daughter Maureen D. Hunter and her husband James of Spencer; a cherished grandson, Marc L. Bennett of Worcester; a sister, Stella Cicero of Worcester; Two brothers, Ergendino "Gindy" Perrone of Pelham NH and Angelo Perrone of West Boylston; nieces, nephews and friends. Angelina's son Michael W. Bennett passed away in 1991. A sister, Antoinette Dubois passed away in January. Two brothers, Marco and John D'Aguanno also pre deceased her. She was born in Ansonia, Connecticut a daughter of Giuseppe and Maria (Conte) D'Aguanno and has lived in Worcester most of her life. Jean worked as an assembler for the Jamesbury Corporation, now Neles- Jamesbury for more than 26 years before retiring in 1986. She was a member of the former St Margaret Mary Church. Angelina's funeral will be held Tuesday, August 31st at 11:00 am in St. Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike Rd. Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. Calling hours are Private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O.Box 1818, Memphis Tenn. 38101. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
