Carolee L. (Lambert) Kalil, 67, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, August 24th with her devoted husband and family by her side. After earning a Paralegal degree, Suma Cum Laude from Anna Maria College, Carolee founded New England Legal Placement Service and ran the company for 25 years before retiring in 2007. Carolee was well respected by the legal community, statewide, for her knowledge and professionalism. Throughout her career she provided invaluable assistance to many firms and countless individuals. Carolee is survived by her devoted husband and partner of 48 years, Rodney F. Kalil; a daughter Kymberly Fichtner, and her husband William of Glendale California; two sisters Gloria Kesler and Ruth Leal both in California; two adored grandchildren, Vangel and Eva Grace; Her son, Rodney F. Kalil, II passed away unexpectedly July 31st . A sister Shirley Ann also pre deceased her. Carolee was born January 19, 1943, in Lowell, a daughter of Vangel and Olga Lambert and has lived here all her life. She was a member of St. George Orthodox Cathedral and St. Mary's Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Friday, August 27th from 5 pm to 7 pm in St George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna St. A funeral service will be held at 7 pm immediately following the visitation. Burial in Hope Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St George Orthodox Cathedral Memorial fund, 30 Anna St. Worcester 01604.
