Dormilee Pearl Raymond

March 5, 1922 — August 17, 2010

Dormilee P. (Clark) Raymond, 88, of Shrewsbury, passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2010 in her granddaughter's home. She is predeceased by her husband Arthur Raymond. She is survived by her children, Fred Cleveland and Yvonne Johnson; five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A daughter, Andrea Fanning predeceased her. Dormilee was born in Clinton, OK and has lived most of her life in Shrewsbury. She was a Nurse's Aid for many years at Memorial Hospital. She was a trained volunteer for the American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery Program. She loved to bowl and sew as well as sharing laughter and conservation with her friends and family. She always looked forward to her Sunday drives, where she enjoyed flea marketing and shopping. A memorial service celebrating Dormilee's life will be held on Friday, August 27th at 10:00 a.m. in the First Congregational Church, 19 Church Road, Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
