Neal P. Spring, 32, of Worcester, died Friday, August 6, 2010. He is survived by his mother, Linda G. Irr and her husband Patrick of Medway; two brothers, Capt. Christopher Spring of Maryland and John Spring of Worcester; a sister Margaret Rivera of Worcester and his maternal grandmother, Ruth Cormier of Worcester; four step brothers, Jamie Gelardi of Sterling, Stephen Gelardi of Oxford, Christopher Irr of Medway and Jason Irr of Raytown, MO; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves his canine companion, Capone and his feline companion Gato. He is predeceased by his father, Alan K. Spring. Neal was born in Worcester on February 19, 1978 and has lived in Worcester most of his life. He attended Oxford High School, later receiving his GED. He was a natural born artist and musician, who enjoyed the ocean and letting loose and celebrating Halloween. Calling hours for Neal will be held on Tuesday, August 10th from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. His funeral will be held Wednesday, August 11th, from the funeral home, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John Church, 44 Temple Street, Worcester, MA.
