Thomas J. "T" Pellegrino, 62, of Worcester passed away Wednesday, July 28th in the University of Massachusetts Hospital after choking on a piece of food while eating dinner. Thomas was born November 26th 1947 in Worcester, the son of Pepino J. and Pauline D. (Magro) Pellegrino. He graduated from North High School, entered the U.S. Army to serve his country during the Vietnam War. Upon his return he graduated from Brom's Academy and became certified as a barber and hair stylist. "T" owned and operated T's Hair Boutique for more than 35 years. He has lived in Worcester all his life. "T" is survived by his son and best friend, Santino J. Pellegrino and his devoted sister, Frances P. Verdolino both of Worcester; Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends. "T" loved the ocean and going to the beach. He was a sports fan who loved the Bruins. "T" was a friend to everybody. He could light up any room with his outstanding sense of humor. "T" loved life, his family and especially his son and sister. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The funeral will be held Tuesday, August 3rd from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends are invited to calling hours, Monday, August 2nd from 4 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home.
