Dale J. Beando, 44, of Barre, formerly of Worcester, passed away Thursday, July 22, 2010 after suffering a pulmonary embolism. Dale was born September 8, 1965 in Worcester. He graduated from North High School, and earned his degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse form Assabet Vocational Technical School. He lived in Worcester until moving to Barre over six years ago. Dale is survived by his two children, Derek J. Beando of Barre and Gabrielle Beando of Charlotte NC; his father, Anthony Beando and his wife Deborah (Pepper) with whom he lived; his mother, Donna M. (Larson) Calimeris and her husband Paul of Worcester; a brother, Shawn M. Beando of Barre; three sisters, twins, Cheryl M. McKinney of Worcester and Cherie A. Beando of Tewksbury, and Tara E. Genzlinger of Westford VT.; four nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dale worked as a LPN for St Francis Rehabilitation and extended care facility. He also worked as a Private Duty Nurse for the past fifteen years. Dale enjoyed fishing with his children, hunting and cooking. He was a fan of the Worcester Ice Cats and an avid Yankee Fan. Friends are invited to visit with the family, Wednesday July 28th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. A Prayer service will be celebrated at 7 pm.
