Carlo D'Auria

Carlo C. D'Auria, 83, of San Giacomo, D'Acri (province of Cosenza Italy) and formerly of Worcester, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 in Cosenza after a long illness. Carlo was born and grew up in San Giacomo, moved to Worcester in the 1970s and lived here on and off for more than 25 years before returning to Italy. Carlo is survived by his wife, Armanda (Alphonso) D'Auria; three sons, five grandchildren, five sisters, including Aurora G. Fusaro of Worcester; a brother; Many nieces, nephews, and extended family in the United States, Canada, and Italy. While in Worcester, Carlo worked for the Arduini Manufacturing Company and the former El Morocco Restaurant. Funeral services and burial were held in Italy. Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church renovation fund, 24 Mulberry St. Worcester, MA 01604.
