Martha R. (Arena) Bianco, 86, of Worcester passed away Sunday, July 11th 2010 in the Life Care of Auburn with her beloved daughters, Lucille and Dolores by her side. Martha was born August 8th 1923 in Worcester, a daughter of the late Luigi and Lucia (Capurso) Arena and has lived here all her life. Her devoted husband of more than 55 years, Anthony J. Bianco passed away August 24th of 2000. She is survived by three daughters, Lucille Leone of Worcester, Dolores Stark and her husband James of Oxford whom were devoted to her and her care, and Linda Rossi of Amherst NH, five adored grandchildren who loved to call her "Nana-Babe" , Gina Nozzolillo and her husband Steven of Millbury, Kevin Leone of Worcester, Michelle Leblanc and her husband Steven of Leominster, Thomas Rossi of Amherst, NH and James Stark of Oxford; four great grandchildren, Jesse , David, Zachary and Jonathan; her grand Dog Nikko whom she treated as her own; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. A grandson Pasquale Mattero and a son in law, Richard Rossi both pre deceased her. Martha was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. It's Golden Years and Mother of Sorrows Associations and a member of the Froshinn Club in Shrewsbury. She enjoyed cooking for her family, family outings and trips to the casinos. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend, who believed that her family was her inspiration and most precious part of her life. She will be greatly missed by them. . The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 14th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Tuesday, July 13th from 5 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Life Care Center of Auburn, 14 Masonic Circle, Auburn. The Bianco family would like to thank the staff at Life Care Center of Auburn that provided such precious care for our Mother. We would also like to thank the office staff of Dr Susan Donohue for their care.
