Tracy J. (Quist) Pauk, 54, of Oxford, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010 in Saint Vincent Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph S. Pauk, with whom she would have celebrated thirty years of marriage in August; their daughter, Brittany P. Pauk of Worcester; two brothers, Richard W. Quist and Paul V. Quist; a sister Sonja A. Quist all of Shrewsbury; a sister in law, Rosemary Leone and her husband Hank and their son Angelo Leone, Jr. of Rochdale; aunts and uncles, including her four Swedish Aunts, and many cousins. She was pre-deceased by her brother in law, Harold M. Pauk, Jr. Born in Worcester, daughter of the late Richard and Pauline (Gribouski) Quist, she graduated from Burncoat High School in 1973. Tracy worked as a Customer Service Representative at Saint Gobain Company in Worcester for over thirty-four years, before retiring a couple years ago. She loved the beach. She enjoyed vacations in Maine, Myrtle Beach and cruising the Caribbean with her life-long friends, The GBVers. She loved caring for her canine "kids", Chico and Petunia, watching old movies, and every kind of socializing, with people she loved. She loved being with people, but she cherished the special times with her daughter; where they celebrated the great gift of adoption, and the love and joy that parents can have for a child. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, July 8, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 9, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester.
