Grace S. Curci

Grace S. Curci, 86, of Worcester died peacefully on her birthday Friday July 2, 2010. In the Christopher House after a brief illness, Grace was born in Worcester daughter of the late Francesco and Lucrezia (Lorusso) Curci and lived here all her life. She is survived by many nephews and nieces, and great nephews and great nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers Nicholas and Mauro Curci, and a sister Lucy Russo. Grace was a graduate of Commerce High School, and worked at the New England Envelope Company for over 20 years before she retired. She was a life member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church, and the ladies Society of Our Lady of Sorrows. Grace enjoyed crossword puzzles, and loved her Shrewsbury St. neighborhood. She was a kind and generous women who really enjoyed being with her family. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Grace's funeral will be held Wednesday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in Our Lady of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours in the funeral home will be from 5-7 PM on Tuesday. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Our Lady Of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church Capital Campaign Fund 24 Mulberry St. Worcester, MA. 01605.
