Thomas J. Pepin, 68, of Worcester passed away Saturday, June 26th 2010 in St Vincent Hospital with his devoted family by his side. Thomas is survived by his wife and devoted partner of 46 years, Carol A. (Gelinas) Pepin; his three children, James A. Pepin and his wife Colleen, Deborah Lucente and her husband Michael all of Worcester; and Donna A. Faticanti of Grafton; a brother, Dennis F. Pepin and his wife Bryce of Rutland; six adored grandchildren, Christina, Marco, Nicole, Ryan, Noelle and Simon; his beloved cats, Bella and Diva; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Tom was born in Worcester, a son of the late Thomas O. and Anita V. (Dubeau) Pepin. He grew up in Holden, graduated from Wachusett Regional High School, and earned his degree in engineering from Worcester Industrial Technical Institute. He lived more than 13 years in Millbury before moving to Worcester almost 40 years ago. Thomas served in the U.S. Army Reserve during the Vietnam War in the United States. Thomas worked more than 30 years for Metso Corporation, formerly Neles-Jamesbury Corp. before retiring. He was an active member of Holy Family Parish, formerly St Joseph's. The American Society of Manufacturing Engineers, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 4311, the Greendale retired Men's Club, and its Men's Golf League, and the Blackstone Vocational Technical High School Advisory Committee. Thomas loved to travel, spend time with his family and friends. He cherished his family, took special interest in being with them, watching them grow and just simply being in their company. They were his life's inspiration. He will be terribly missed. The funeral will be held Wednesday, June 30th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:30 am in Holy Family Parish. Hamilton St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family Tuesday, June 29th from 5 to 8 pm in the funeral home. The Fraternal Order of Eagles, 4311 will meet in the funeral home at 7 pm to conduct their ritual.
