Philomena "Tiny" (DePari) Capurso, 82, of Worcester passed away Thursday, June 24th 2010 in the University of Massachusetts Hospital after a brief illness. Philomena is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Vincent S. "Vinny" Capurso; two sisters, Mae Robo of Auburn and Michelina Santoro of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. Five brothers, Armando, Joseph, Jerry and Dr. Charles Buono, and Nicholas DePari, and five sisters, Ann R. Hills, Mary Jane Cavanaugh, Josephine Buono, Raffaela Williams and Mary McDonald all pre deceased her. Philomena was born in Worcester a daughter of Anthony Depari and Caroline (Roncone) Buono-DePari and has lived here all her life. Tiny worked for the former WCIS Bank in Micro filming before retiring. She previously worked in Medical Records department at Memorial Hospital. At onetime she worked for the Leow's Poli Theatre. Philomena was a member of St Anne's Church, a former member of St Margaret Mary Church. She was formerly an avid bowler and former member of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette Bowling League A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 26th at 10:30 AM in St Anne's Church, 130 Boston Turnpike Rd. Shrewsbury. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are Private.
