Rosalia (DeMaio) Natale, 88, of Worcester passed away Wednesday, June 23rd 2010 in the St. Francis Home. Rosalia's husband Joseph Natale passed away in 1983. She is survived by a daughter Anna Tamburro and her husband Michael of Seekonk; a son, John J. Natale and his wife Traci of Millbury; five cherished grandchildren, Angela Preble and her husband Kevin, Gina Tamburro, Joseph, Michael and Stephen Natale; a sister Ida Baron in Caserta Italy; nieces and nephews. Three brothers predeceased her. Rosalia was born in Garzano, province of Caserta Italy, a daughter of Genaro and Angelica (DeMaio) DeMaio. She came to the United States in 1959 and has lived here every since. Rosalia worked many years for the Hersh Neckwear Company before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. A dedicated mother and grandmother, Rosalia cherished the moments she could spend with her children and grandchildren. Sewing, Baking and cooking for her family was the greatest joy in her life. She will be missed terribly by everyone. A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, June 26th at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Rd. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Calling hours will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to The St. Francis Home, 101 Plantation St. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
