Deborah A. Lazzaro

December 26, 1953 — June 19, 2010

Deborah A. (Ruggieri) Lazzaro, 56, of Worcester, died peacefully Saturday, June 19, 2010 in the Autumn Village. Deborah leaves her loving family; a daughter Elayna Hebert and her husband Kristopher of Chelmsford, her parents John and Mary (Gentile) Ruggieri of Worcester, two brothers John A. Ruggieri and his wife Christine, Jeffrey R. Ruggieri and his wife Maureen, two sisters, Donna McLaughlin, and Dianna D'Acri and her husband Edward, her former husband and friend John Lazzaro, a first grandson due soon, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Deborah was born in Worcester and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Venerini Academy and North High School. Debbie worked at the UMASS Medical Center as a Medical Secretary for many years. She attended Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel St Ann Church. She was a lover of all animals, and was a collector of everything! However her most precious times were those spent with her family and friends. Deborah will be dearly missed by her family and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 26, 2010 in the United Congregational Church, 6 Institute Rd. at 10AM. The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation Street is assisting the family with arrangements. Deborah's ashes will be scattered on Cape Cod at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, Massachusetts 01606.
