Lucy J. (Santoro) Orcutt, 85, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, June 15, 2010 in St. Vincent's Hospital. Her husband of fifty-one years, Arthur H. Orcutt passed away in July of 1998. She is survived by a son, Ronald R. Orcutt and his wife Deborah of Worcester; a daughter, Shirley J. Gregory and her husband William Jr. of Holiday, FL; four loving grandchildren, Jon, Scott, Joseph and Julie; three great grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob and Allison; a brother, Natale Santoro of Shrewsbury and a sister, Ann Vincent of Titusville, FL; many nieces, nephews and close friends. Three brothers, Michael, Frank and Sam Santoro predeceased her. Lucy was born in Portland, Maine a daughter of the late Nicholas and Antoinette (Sacco) Santoro. She attended Commerce High School and has lived in Worcester most of her life. She was the assistant manager of Putnam Card & Gift for 27 years before retiring in 1990. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle, where she volunteered for BINGO and was a member of the Home Rosary Group. Some of her enjoyments in life included traveling the world with her husband, crocheting and doing puzzles. She will be greatly missed by all. Her funeral will held Saturday, June 19th , from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Mission, 5 Spaulding St., Worcester. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Friday, June 18th from 5 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home.
