Angelina (DiPilato) Francese, 92, of Boca Raton Florida formerly of Trent Rd in Worcester passed away Thursday June 10th 2010 in Florida with family at her side. Angelina is now reunited with the Love of her life for 63 years, Frank Francese who passed away in 2000. She is survived by her devoted four children, Antoinette Courtney with whom she lived in Florida, Joseph Francese and his wife Marjorie, Josephine "Pina" Buduo and her husband Harold, and Angela Francese all of Worcester; 10 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and a sister, Dora Danzilio; A sister, Elizabeth DiCillis, a brother Louis DiPilato and a great grandson Scott Logan Calcagni all pre deceased her. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Giacomo and Josephine DiPilato. She lived in Worcester most of her life before moving to Florida after retirement 30 years ago. Mrs. Francese worked as a supervisor, many years for Nancy Howard Sportswear before retiring. Angelina was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church. A Life member of Our Lady of Sorrows Society, a former member of the Maria S.S. Addelorata Society of the Biscegliese Society. A member of the International Society of garment workers union. Angelina was an avid swimmer, dancer, reader and a great cook. The greatest joy of her life was being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The funeral will be held Tuesday, June 15th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel -Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St., Worcester. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9 to 10:30 am Tuesday prior to the funeral.
