Mary L Pellegrini

Mary L. (DeSantis) Pellegrini, 99, formerly of Granby Road in Worcester, passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Saint Patrick's Manor, Framingham. Her beloved husband of sixty-three years, Nicholas Pellegrini, predeceased her in 1996. Mary is survived by her daughter, Helena Leet-Pellegrini of Milford; her son, Gerald Pellegrini of Worcester; her beloved five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Luigi and Marianna (Lorusso) DeSantis; she graduated from Worcester Commerce High School and lived in Worcester most of her life. She was predeceased by a brother, Pasquale Libro DeSantis and by three sisters, Josephine Pedone, Alba DeMichele, and Artea Molinari. Calling hours for Mary will be held on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made in her memory to St. Patrick's Manor, Inc., 863 Central Street, Framingham, Massachusetts 01701.
