Albino Faiola, 75, of Worcester passed away Friday, May 25th 2010, in Memorial Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Albino was born in Frosinone, Italy, August 2, 1934, a son of Antonio and Chiara (Cioci) Faiola. He grew up in Italy moving to the United States at the age of 17 and has lived here ever since. Albino is survived by his two devoted sons, Marco Faiola his wife Danielle and their children, Nicholas, Dominic and Chiara all of Auburn, Gino A. Faiola of Worcester; a daughter in law, Linda J. (Rondeau) Faiola of Auburn; Two daughters, Jayne Gracom, her husband Todd and their children in Washington State, and Michelle Hannan of Worcester; his former wife Louise (Duesberg) Faiola and his longtime companion Carol Beasley: two great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. A son, Marcello Faiola passed away February 20th. Three brothers, Silverio "Sammy", Guilio and Arcangelo Faiola and a sister Adele Pedone all pre deceased him. Albino's owned and operated Albino's Market on Belmont St. before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He loved to garden and maintain his fruit and fig trees. But, most of all his family and friends meant the world to him. They were his life's inspiration and dedication. He cherished his Italian heritage and all things associated with that. Albino's funeral will be held Wednesday, June 2, from the MERCADNTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Entombment will be in St. John Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with Albinos family from 5 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, June 1st in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Renovation fund of our lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. 01604.
