Satish Nagpal

Satish Nagpal, 58, of Mendon, passed away Tuesday, May 25th 2010 in Milford Regional Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Satish was born October 9th 1951, in Nairobi, Kenya a son of Lal Chand and Chander Kanta(Khanna) Nagpal. He grew up in London, and earned his bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of London. Satish met and married his devoted wife and partner of 29 years Vijay (Dewan) Nagpal. Together they moved to the United States in 1985 and have lived in Mendon, MA since 2004. He is survived by his wife Vijay, two beloved sons, Sanjay and Sunil Nagpal all of Mendon; his mother, Chander Kanta (Khanna) Nagpal; a brother, Naval Nagpal and a sister Neelam (Nagpal)Sheehan all in London; nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends. A brother Yashvir Nagpal as well as his father Lal Chand Nagpal predeceased him. Satish worked for the past 25 years as an engineer for the Raytheon Corporation. He had an outgoing and gregarious personality for Life, who could make a friend with anybody and light up a room with his presence. Satish was a passionate golfer who cherished his family and friends and their company. Funeral services for Satish will be held Monday, May 31st at 2:30 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester, MA .
