Florence M. (Fecteau) Novak, 62, of Worcester, passed away after a two year battle with Cancer on Friday, May 21, 2010 at INOVA Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg, Virginia. She was born on December 21st, 1947 in Framingham, MA; daughter of Paul Leo and Irene (Tymon) Fecteau. She is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America and also received an Accounting Certificate from Mass Bay Community College. She was a long time employee of Hudson Poly Bag, Inc. on Main Street in Hudson, MA. Florence formerly lived in Hopkinton, MA; Keene, NH and Saudi Arabia. She had gone to an all girls private school in England while her family lived in Saudi Arabia. Florence is survived by her daughters, Sabina Fecteau of Worcester, MA; Dawn Meyers and her husband Jeremy of Leesburg, VA; her granddaughter, Alyssa Meyers; her sister, Marie Evers and her husband Robert of Hopkinton, MA; a sister in law, Virginia Fecteau; nephews and niece William Fecteau and his wife Kimberly; Leo Paul Fecteau and his wife Tracy; Ari Cunha; Angela Cunha and Adam Cunha and his wife Sarah Newman. She was predeceased by both of her parents and her older brother, Leo Paul Fecteau in December 1995. Calling hours will be held Friday, May 28, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, May 29, from the funeral home, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint John's Church, 40 Temple Street, Worcester.
