Phyllis A. (Entwistle) Bisceglia, 82 of Worcester passed away Tuesday, May 11th 2010 in University of Massachusetts Hospital with her family at her side. She is survived by her devoted husband and partner of 63 years Paul Bisceglia; two loving children, Domenic Bisceglia and his wife Tillie of Hopkinton and Maria Bisceglia of Worcester; a cherished granddaughter, Paula Bisceglia; three brothers, James, John and Bernard Entwistle all of Worcester. A brother, Robert Entwistle and two sisters, Evelyn Moody and Lily Cournoyer all pre deceased her. Phyllis was born in Worcester a daughter of John and Nellie (Duxbury) Entwistle. She married her husband Paul in September of 1946 and has lived in Worcester all her life. Phyllis worked as office administrator at Mt. Pleasant Country Club many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church. Phyllis enjoyed going to the casinos. Family was a major part of Phyllis's life. She devoted her time to her husband, children and granddaughter. They were her inspiration and life's enjoyment. She will be greatly missed by all. Phyllis' funeral will be held Friday, May 14th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, Thursday, May 13th from 5 pm to 7 pm in the funeral home.
