Robert T Brikas Sr

Robert T. Brikas, Sr., 62, of Holden passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 in Saint Vincent Hospital, with his loving family at his side. Robert is survived by his loving wife and long time companion of twenty-three years, Maureen Mohan-Brikas; a son, Robert T. Brikas and his wife Suzanne of Land O Lakes, FL; a daughter, Kimberly A. Babkauskas and her husband Shawn of Dudley; a step-son, Neil W. Mohan of Kalamazoo, MI; a sister in law, Susan Bardhi and her husband Peter; four grandsons, Kody, Jaime, Kasey and Daniel. Robert was born and raised in Worcester, son of Thomas and Antoinette (Kisten) Brikas. He graduated from South High School and Quinsigamond Community College. He served his nation proudly in the Unites States Army, and was stationed in Germany for several years. Mr. Brikas worked as a molder and ceramics technician at Saint Gobain Company in Worcester for many years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Alhambra Council. The Brikas family would like to thank Dr. Salvan, for his wonderful care and support for Robert and the entire family. Calling hours will be held Monday, May 10, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester.
